Class norms are derived from the school SWPBS matrix, student input and functionally, and lessons from teachers that care.
Class NormsGrandma's Rules: "Do Your Work first then, ask to play" Class Norms This will be repeated each day. Beginning class, Turn in homework, sharpen pencil, have your book and materials for class; use restroom before you come into the room. Students should be quiet level 0 at beginning of class not standing around, off topic, or playing around. Quiet Norms People work quietly, used for reading, and test taking. No distractions to other students. Group Working Norms Small Group uses Level 1-2 Everyone needs to be engaged with the group work, Voice Levels Level 0 No auditable sounds Level 1 Partner work (Whispers) Level 2 Table work (low voice 2 ft away) Level 3 Room (Teaching, Presentations) Level 4 Gym ( Yelling But No Banging) Level 5 Outside (Ball Games Yelling) |
